What is an SFC school group?
An SFC school group is a Smartphone Free Childhood WhatsApp group for your school, set up by anyone who wants to start making change in their school community. The SFC school groups live in their SFC regional community, so that they can receive updates from SFC HQ, and see what other schools are listed to avoid duplication. Members of the school group can also choose to be part of the regional SFC community chat group if they want to – but this is entirely optional.

How do I use it?
SFC school groups are primarily intended to be gathering places for the like-minded parents in your school community, where you can connect with the other parents in your child’s peer group who are also delaying smartphones, and feel a sense of community and solidarity in that decision. You can also use it to communicate about any SFC-related meetings or events at your school.
The school groups are private spaces – SFC HQ and our regional leaders do not enter your school groups, but you will get updates from HQ via the community announcements.
